For most of my life, I have nurtured an interest in helping others through difficult transitions in their lives. Even as a teenager I often observed how emotions “held” in the body were literally and figuratively holding people back physically and emotionally.
While I was working in the corporate world, I discovered Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® and was fascinated by that approach, which includes both psychological and physiological aspects. In addition to providing physical relief, this therapy helps release emotions and experiences held in the tissues.
After studying extensively in Jin Shin Do® Bodymind Acupressure® and other bodywork approaches, I graduated from the Cayce-Reilly School of Massage in 2006 and I opened my bodywork practice. I became a Registered Jin Shin Do® Acupressurist in 2007.
In 2009, I was invited to study Brainspotting under the discoverer and developer, David Grand. After being the first body worker to become certified in Brainspotting in 2013, I began to realize the impact that bodymind wellness can have in my client’s lives. As I worked with more and more clients, I began to see the powerful improvements my clients made as I helped them become aware of and listen to their bodymind.
As my work progressed, my own bodymind began to nudge (more like drive) me toward coaching – and I immersed myself into learning powerful coaching principles. I then began using those principles in addition to eye positioning, acupressure and light massage and found myself being even more in tune with my clients. As I began drawing upon this extensive knowledge and expertise, my intuition became much more powerful and nurturing and I have been blessed to be able to use it to help my clients find physical, and often emotional, relief, clarity of purpose and a deeper connection with life.
I would like to invite you to come and experience the bodymind awakening for yourself.
